Health and Wellness
With extensive knowledge in Dobermans, veterinary medicine and training, Aaron Doberman puts a large focus on its pedigrees, with a strong understanding of temperament, looks, and genetics. With the intent to better the breed, and continue the work from previous breedings, the Dobermans chosen for the program at Aaron Doberman are carefully handpicked. Aaron Doberman follows the Orthopaedic Foundation of Canada, with a focus on gold-standard health testing previsions. The Dobermans brought into the program are both FCI and CKC registered. Full health testing includes annual heart screenings (Echo and Holter), full blood work, OFA hip screening, DNA testing for Thyroid, and vWD. They are regularly vet checked, fully vaccinated, and are on regular deworming/flea and tick prevention. .
